Bears need to pull their heads out of their ass, but their defense is fucked.

I just feel bad for trestman because he's 100 times the coach lovie is, but he has basically lost like 7 guys from his defense and has no way of winning even in games they put up 24+ in.

The bears Defensive line and Linebackers were decimated, and now Tillman is out. This season is over for the bears. They lost twice to the lions.... has that ever happened?

Wait a minute... did you just mix me up with AMD? Do you just see a broncos avatar and assume? How long have you been doing that? I've never been more offended in my life.

I take it back... this isn't the official thread. Rudeguy still needs to make it :colbert:

I agree. I'm offended.

I'm a real Broncos fan who has been a season ticket holder for over a decade. I've been through all the blood, sweat and tears that this team has gone through.

Meanwhile you call yourself a fan, and yet I doubt you've seen half of the games this year. Considering you argued on behalf of Ronnie Hillman after which he was benched what will most likely be for the whole year because I said he was a fumbling machine, and you through out stats as if that told the story. That was proof you didn't actually watch the games. Also proof that you are a fair weather or band wagon fan. 😛

not even one page in and the penis fight has already started. :\

LOL

I was just about to post "And the Broncos penis fight has started".

Really looking forward to Broncos/Chiefs game. In my head how this game is played will prove if KC is really a good team and also if Denver's defense is as bad as the stats say.

My prediction: If KC can get to Peyton 3 times in the first quarter, they win the game. Not necessarily sacks, just knock downs. If not, Peyton will shred their defense like he is known to.

That's pretty rediculous considering, with the exception of the last two road games, the Broncos have played much better in the second half.

If KC gets to him throughout the game it will be rough, but if they only do it in the first QTR I don't see how you can assume it would matter

This is page 3 son

Am I the only person who thinks Sam Bradford looks like a Chimpanzee?

I agree with Rudeguy's predictions on the KC Denver game. KC needs to get early pressure on Manning, or they won't be able to keep up. Jamaal Charles or Alex Smith need to have a once in their career days if it comes anywhere close to a shootout.

Exactly how did your mind gravitate to that? He hasn't played football all season, even when he was in the game he was playing something akin to Gabbertball, not football

Dude is officially a bust IMO

I see his stupid face every time I play Madden.

Looks like it could snow Sunday, can't wait for all the haters to start talking about Manning playing in the cold all day leading up to the game.

Peyton gets frazzled if he's knocked around early. He likes to set the tempo and he can't do that on his back.

As far as what happens in the rest of the game, I don't have a clue. But I would put money on KC winning if they can knock him down 3 times in the first quarter.

You would think Bronco "fans" would get along eh?

oh no

One of the guys here is a huge Lions fan but he is one of those that thinks every person not on the Lions' roster sucks. I just like good football. We will go rounds on whether Rodgers is a good QB or if the Bears will have a winning record. Its pretty fun.

He has gotten frazzled, true enough - most noticeably in the Indianapolis game. He has also come back in the second half and tore it up like nothing happened at all. Especially at Mile High he seems to be able to shake it off a lot better rather than on the road where the crowd lets him hear about it. This game could be a lot different than the game at KC in two weeks, where I think what you are saying holds a lot more bearing.

I'm totally grasping at straws here. I think this game could be anything from a blowout with KC's defense shutting Peyton down, a blowout with Peyton shredding KC's defense and KC's offense not putting up any points, to a barn burner coming down to the last play. The only thing for sure is KC's offense is suspect and Denver's defense is suspect. I'm not saying either is terrible, just suspect.

Either way its going to set the tone for the rest of the season. KC beating Denver would finally shut people up about their weak schedule and Denver beating KC would finally prove that Denver is the best team in the league.

Its going to be fun!

Snow maybe in the early morning - cold rain after that.

Not that I'm nitpicking your posts or anything, I just slightly disagree again. I think the Broncos should win this game as its a home game, and can just as easily lose the game in two weeks at KC. Meaning we're back to where we started with both teams splitting those games. Now if KC some how wins both, thats a different story - or obviously if Denver wins both of them, as I believe is more likely.

However, maybe that won't be such a bad thing. Teams that have snuck in to the playoffs the last 7-8 years have been the team that wins the Super Bowl - and not the division winner. Ravens last year, both of the NY Giants Super Bowls. Nearly every team I can remember in the last 7-8 years won the Super Bowl as a Wild Card and not as the division winner. So maybe that would be for the best, to get in as a Wild Card versus a division winner.

Yeah, I know; because you totally owned all the naysayers on that one last year...

:hmm:

Gotcha...I don't pay too much attention to the standings but I can see where you are coming from. IMHO its still way too early to think about playoffs. Especially in your division where the Broncos and Chiefs are both basically guaranteed a spot. Matter of fact...I think it would be awesome if they could play a third time!

But I think you missed the part of my post where I said that the Broncos would prove they are the best team. I've been saying for a while now that they are, this game could prove it.

I think the current issue with this weekend in particular is that Peyton's health is suddenly questionable, as it relates to game time.

Him getting frazzled early in the game is different this week, than it has been before.

Getting hit 3x early by man-monster Tamba Hali suggests that Peyton "may not" be playing much of the game....just saying. I hope he doesn't get injured or anything, that would suck, but he's on old man ankles right now.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that they are the best team. If we could pick up on defense a bit there would be no question. I just don't think this game will prove that, as we should win this game. In two weeks if we lose to KC, (as I think is a realistic scenario) people will still wonder who the better of the two are. KC is tough tough tough place to play, and I would argue that its even tougher for the Broncos. The fans always come out stronger against the Broncos, as does the team. I have that as a loss on paper.

So we prove we're the best only for two weeks. And of course we have NE in between those two games which is scary as well.

Which would still leave KC as the division leader after those 2 games are split between us.

Bottom line is, we both agree this game is huge - bigger for the Broncos IMO, because if they lose this one, its devastating. Not so much for KC, as splitting the two is best case scenario for them I think. They lose this one and win at home, and I think they are happy with that and would still be 1st in the division.

You're not wrong, however I don't believe that his ankles are any worse off then they've been already over the last two games. He missed practice today (intentionally to get a day off) as he did the last two weeks leading up to the games. He has had these ankles injuries for a while, exacerbated at Indianapolis. I don't think they are any worse though, as the MRI confirmed there is no new damage.

Our O-line will need to do everything they can so that they don't get worse though, as your point still stands.
