Looks like someone missed the Cherokee.
Liberty sales never met Cherokee sales. People are still pissed that the Liberty was the replacement for the Cherokee.
I certainly miss the cherokee. It was in production for so long that they had addressed most of the manufacturing defects
except minor things like electric window motors...
They should stick with the 190hp 4.0L inline 6 that they used to put in the Cherokee...it was a superior engine to this 3.7L v6 crap if you ask me. I'll never buy a liberty, but may consider one of the new ones if they change the name back to Cherokee.
Yeah, having windows that actually roll down when you press the button is highly overrated and only a minor annoyance, especially when you are driving up to a toll booth or a drive thru window in pouring rain. Also, getting the rear axle wet (like on a boat ramp) will cause thousands of dollars worth of damage. Oh, and I used to rent cars to Jeep customers. A loyal bunch they were, at least when it came to renting cars. I knew quite a few of them by name because I literally saw them every few weeks. Yeah, the Cherokee was a great vehicle...
I swear, there is no fricken way I'll ever buy a Jeep.
