What an engine! You could just drop the clutch in 2nd and spin the wheels! Must be some experience to drive that car. How do they make so much torque, and available from 2000RPM too!

I'm amazed!

On another note i'm loving the new mercedes styling.. From the 2006 S Class i think they've got it spot on! How are the quality issues improving?

When I see a Mercedes, I'm not able to think performance at all for some reason. Maybe it's because so many of their models only come with automatic transmissions?

:Q Even though I don't like the new C-body too much, that is fvcking awesome. But... are there only 40 made or are these limited edition CL65AMG's, and there will be a normal production number for... normal (?) CL65AMG's?

You make that much power by turbo-ing a V12. With that much power I would really want AWD, so I could actually give it the beans without fear of wrapping it around a tree.

ZR-1 is a good enough car but not too impressive when compared to today's products.

Bah, 738 ft-lbs of torque? If I stand on the end of a 3.5 ft long bar, I can make that much torque!

It can't. Traction control really limits what it puts down. Today's tires are waaaaay underdesigned for the kinds of torque that they're seeing.

To say the least!

Rubber can't cope with that kind of force... I wonder what kind of compounds they'll move onto after rubber. I suppose its sufficient for average daily use though!
