The ad placement crap makes my stomach stir. We need more of the sport and less of the ads...

These days the athletes cannot say anything because they may lose adds

Well I feel sorry for all the fans here who bought game 5 tickets from scalpers and spent thousands of dollars doing so.

They can't get money back, but the scalpers can get refunds.

I'm the only one in my whole apartment complex who gives a damn about this win 🙁. Upstate NY sux nuts.

In western NY there are more Sox fans than NYC ones.

What a great year for the Sox.

Win the AL East and then the World Series. 🙂

What more can you ask for. We need to get Ortiz an MVP next.

If anyone spends thousands on tickets I have a hard time feeling sorry for them.

I think you guys have a great team. Your time's coming.

Even if they did...most expensive seats were $250 and people were paying easily $800-1200 for them.

I don't think the 8 day layoff made a difference, the Sox were hot as hell and I doubt anything would have made a difference.

I think so, but I just wish we could have taken it to 6 or 7 games.

WTF is up with the Wheaties Box next to Francona as they're interviewing him. They actually tilted it so that it showed better in the camera. Lame.

Damn I'm so pumped up right now. Sox win, Pats are DOMINATING, Celtics look like a true playoff contender, and even the fucking bruins are winning. Can't forget BC and their nice comeback victory over VT either.

Does it get any better than this for a local sports fan. I'm just so jacked up right now.

You should ask that to the guy that doesn't have the game start till about 8:30, or as the MLB VP put it, if it were up to TV the games would start closer to 9:30. I guess they like filling there rating demo groups with people whom don't have jobs.

Which means it's bed time for me 😉

that's the double truth, ruth! my guys at ferrari took driver's and constructor's championship last week. if the celtics and bruins can bring back the glory days, this town is going to explode. 😀

It would be only fitting for the Celtics and Lakers to be in the playoffs, and the Lakers beat them 😛

Something tells me that not a lot of people will be at their desk in Boston tomorrow hah. It's like a national holiday every time you guys win something.

Now we can all get our free taco 🙂

not if you work full time. I think you can only claim the taco from 3-5pm. On the other hand, I know someone who just furnished their entire home with Jordon's Furniture....
