? The Boston Red Sox broke their franchise attendance record for the sixth consecutive year by drawing 2,847,888. They have recorded 226 consecutive sell-outs, which is the second longest streak of all-time, and they became the second team in history to have back-to-back seasons of 81 sellouts.

90+ years in the same stadium and finally setting attendance records, sounds bandwagon to me 😀

Think they will break C-Towns record of 455?

When the idea of "Red Sox Nation" started being commercialized, the sellouts began. At first, they weren't consecutive, but I can say that before the '00 / '01 season, I could find tickets very easily. Now, I hardly ever go to games anymore.

Don't be bitter.

If you had a clue, you would know that every year since John Henry became owner of the Red Sox they have been adding seats to Fenway Park. So, of course, every year the attendance record will be broken.

Yes of course, most everyone would know they began adding seats 😕 Any bitterness detected was a mistake on your part. Serious question, do you think they will break the mark set by Cleveland?

Someone needs to tell the Rockie fans that the towel thing didn't work to well for the Indians. Might wana try something else... maybe they could throw rocks or something.

WTF, they took Youk out?

They had to. In National League parks pitchers have to hit. So AL teams have to pull a player and the Sox decided it was better to go for the offense and risk it defensively.

We are playing small ball, take that Rockies! 😛

EDIT: We'll see if Ortiz can come through.

Yeah, I realize that, but Ortiz runs like a one legged cat. Youk's post season stats are pretty impressive. I'd hate to have Ortiz being a lead runner.

Yah, they just did the flash of Youk's post season stats. It's a tough call but so far, meh. Now Manny is up, then Lowell. Fogg has to get this out.
