This postseason has been pretty disappointing.

I really enjoyed the ALCS

If Boston wins tonight it will mean that the postseason was only 4 games played over the absolute minimum.

Wow, amazing stat.

And Clevland played in all four of them.

The Sox should ditch Lugo and Crisp and sign A-Rod 🙂

Yankees will go after him, they are just liars. They have no choice. New stadium in 09. someone's gotta fill the seats. If they let him go there isn't anyone left on that roster who's assured of coming back that has the potential to fill seats. Arod's gonna be looking at 30+ mil. He's gotta feed his family you know.

Eh, AL baseball is not nearly as interesting as NL baseball.

i find it the oppisite, however it really was the only interesting "Series" there was, the rest all ended in 4 games or less and that includes the division series

What does that matter? We get tired of seeing the same teams over and over again.

I think the DH rule needs to go away.

Assuming nothing changes in this game, of the last 10 there will have been 7 AL to 3 NL victories, which includes 5 sweeps by the AL.

That you somehow tack the DH rule as the reason the NL sucks, or that the DH makes games less interesting.

Damn mit, just end the world series now. I don't want to be forced to watch crap games move the Fox schedule around.

Bring in Josh Beckett and end this.

Where did I say that anywhere in my statement?

I just don't like the DH rule. I prefer the way the game is played in the NL. I certainly didn't say that the NL sucks.

sure... but in the last 7 its been 3-4 NL to AL. I don't really feel like counting the Yanks 3 in a row, and even if you did, you would at least expect the AL to have a bit of an edge on the NL considering the ridiculous differences in payroll between the two.

This is it... last chance for the Rockies.
Uhm...no we do have a 9th inning here in the NL you know.
My thought was that in the 9th you have to face Papelbon and that the heart of the line-up was due in the 8th. Now you go into the 9th with the bottom of the line-up against one of the best closers in the game.

Not good.

Our bottom of the lineup has hit pretty damn well at times when they've needed to.
