Over the past few months, i've been noticing that numerous technologies are being hyped up for 2007, example.......the whole hd dvd thing is on track for release this year, but maturity surely wont be until 07, windows vista for sure, and the fact that mr. gates is toting vista as a separate platform for gaming etc. ALso, though next gen graphics is here now, us pc gamers(who usually want the best quality), feel kinda outdone by the xbox360 and ps3(we know even though we dont admit it) and our savior dx10.....wont be ready for 06, much less games that use it; in addition to hardware requirements. Hdmi and hdcp are on the forefront, am2 , quad cores, the list goes on. One thing to note is that no matter how robust hardware specs become and how expensive or obsolete they become ...the important factor here is not the technology...but the content, i'm tired of crappy movies and crappy games that are rushed out only with bottom-line in mind, i ask you software developers and movie makers and anyone not on the hardware side....please make me not feel like i wasted money investing in all this technolog, cause we are sick of the inhumane treatment, you want our money...make us feel good giving it.

Ps. Ironman the movie and Transformers the movie are coming in '07, cant wait.

You are on crack if you think any of those changes will be anything more than trivial footnotes... even in the history of technology
