2007 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V

Specs are decent. Ugly bodywork though. The front is way too blunt and the rear looks inflated. Just like a dozen other little bubble-like cars on the road today.

don't dig the mini-maxima look. as mentioned above, i don't like the "bubble-look"

and holy cow, a NA 200hp four banger? nicely done Nissan. but:

blah, blah, blah and 8-counterweight crankshaft to achieve a higher redline limit of 6,800 rpm.

my 7 year old civic can do that.

The difference is that the Nissan has torque

It's actually closer to a 2005-2006 Altima look.

Edit: Could go either way. The headlights are those of a maxima. Hood, bumper and grill are those of a 05/06 Altima.

"Performance in the SE-R is delivered by the QR25DE engine tuned for 177 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 172 lb-ft of torque at 2,800 rpm (on regular unleaded fuel)."

there's no curb weight listed yet, but at 2900-3000 lbs for the smaller engine 2007 sentra, the base SE-R isn't going to be fast considering the heavy weight and mediocre power.

wait, it gets better;

"The SE-R model offers fun-to-drive performance and aggressive, sporty appearance to those who want the convenience of an automatic transmission. The Sentra SE-R, equipped exclusively with Nissan?s Xtronic CVT? (Continuously Variable Transmission), is a unique offering in the sport compact market."

so if you buy the base SE-R, apparently you can only get a CVT
