When you stored it did you disconnect the battery? I'd put it on a charger and see if it cranks first.

Pull the plug and see if it's wet to check if you flooded the engine. While the plug is out clean it.

If it's cranking I wouldn't think that's the issue, but I'd still get a Battery Tender Jr to hook up to it. No bike should be stored without one. I'd think he just has to crank through whatever is in the line to get it started. It could be flooded too. Make sure the fuel cock is set correctly.

Who needs a batter tender? I have found a better solution: Ride the bike every day.:)

hello,

I put the bike in my GFs garage about two months ago. Haven't started it since. I just now remembered to put some STA-BIL in and out 1oz in there and now the bike will not start.

I attempted to start the bike. I can get it to turn over but it won't start. I can hear the started attempting to turn over the engine but no go.

There is gas in the bike as I loosened to gas line just enough to get gas to drip out. I read the carbs may be clogged up?

Any ideas?

Phil

2007... isn't it FI?
If not, most likely clogged up carb jets. Get some carb cleaner, unplug the fuel lines and spray thru the jets.

Wuss.

let me see you push a fucking 400lbs motorcycle around when it's icey outside you dumbass

I do, I live in CT and ride year round. I also rode around in the Rockies during a snow storm on my cross country trip this year. I don't push it around, I ride it around.

Anyway, that's wasn't very nice.

your commment was?

Of course, you think 31 is too cold to be out on a bike!

Wuss. I rode in 12-18 degree weather.

12-18 C is a little warmer then 12-18 F :)

now go troll somewhere else.

That is a great idea unless it snows where you live. I can only ride mine 7 months out of the year.
