Wow, sounds nice. Obviously we can't really rely on that pic, but if it's a hard-top convertible coupe version of the upcoming IS sedan, it should look great. I was just about to put a deposit down on an IS350...now I might have to wait it out to see what's up with this CC... :p

You should've waited until Fall for the new IS to come out. Much less ricey looking (read: red taillights), much more refined. Although I bet you got a really great price on on the current model IS (would that be MkI...?)...

Also, oddly enough:
1) My fiancee also has an IS300 (bought last January)
2) My fiancee's birthday is April 9.
3) I was at the Rose Bowl this year for Texas/Michigan. Great game. Hook'em Horns

strange coincidence.

even less ricey is probably too ricey for me. i've always bought bmw, and my next car will probably be a bmw again.

As an Audi A4 owner, I can understand how you feel about the Bimmer. My cousin has a new 5, and the new 3 is stellar. But the cost of ownership and build-quality of Lexus is unmatched, which is a big part of the reason why my next car will be the new IS. Not to mention the fact that both Audis and BMWs simply can't compete with the pricing of similar-market Japanese cars like Infiniti and Lexus. The IS is a bargain, and the new one will undoubtedly be the same way.

Hey NFS4, did you see the pics of the "sport" interior? No wood, brushed aluminum, plus one color instead of the black/ecru color combo...very nice

You would probably hit this too if it had a Lexus badge on it.

LOL. Looks like a Toyota Solora which I think looks like complete ASS

It does look like a Solara in the rear quarter, but the front 3/4 looks pretty damn slick. Sub-$20k retractable hardtop sounds like something Scion should come out with...

Scary to think that the M14 with a Scion badge would probably sell hotter than the TC.

I wish I had the extra coin to get a convertible. Maybe I can start saving money instead of going into the red.
