Does it still have the ATESSA system? If if does, than it'll smack every other high-end car down like crap.

Sure, it's got 50 less BHP than the 'vette, but it can take a corner without the arse-end busting loose. I can't WAIT for Clarkson to get ahold of this thing.

i'd take the r34 anyday of the week

You're not the only one. Then again, I hate most newer cars (still a fan of the 99-00 civics, last gen integras, previous-gen wrx in terms of looks, nissan 240sx's, etc).

Newer cars are just too ugly and have too many gizmo's to "aid" the driver.

i like a lot of mid-late 90's car design.. and of course my 3 🙂 and the classic muscle cars.

I've never heard of that. What's it's front and rear coefficients of lift?

Aftermarket aluminum spoiler++ 😛

yeah, the vette has a 15k price bumper.. you could probably slap on a nice turbo to boot😉

PEOPLE! It's not called the Skyline. The "Skyline" name is just that - a name. The G35 we have here in the States is called the Skyline in Japan. This new model is NOT A SKYLINE - it's simply being called the "GT-R".

wow, didnt notice that.... i was assuming this was the skyline replacement because the gtr symbol they are using is exactly the same as the old r33's and r34's....what is nissan thinking?.... and yes, ryan is right. The name of the car is Skyline which consisted of alot of models... but most popuar ones are the r32,r33, and r34. The newest model, which is the G35 here in the states, is the 11th generation model (which did piss poor in sales in japan).

skyline history

For the person above that said the 350 is called the skyline, you are sadly mistaken. The 350z was from the same line of the Datsun Z cars, which eventually turned into the 300zx line.

300zx history

hehehee, im such a nissan fanboy....=)

yes, people think Skyline = GT-R, which is wrong, there are plenty of plain-jane R34 Skylines running around Japan that come nowhere close to being as cool as the GT-R, just like we have G35s that aren't really *that* special:

See?
Super ugly compared to a GT-R IMO

C6 Z06: 65k, 500hp

GTR: 80k, 480hp

the 'vette gets em wet 😛

i gotta say though, that side profile is hawt hawt hawt

You know, I fully understand the greatness of the C6 Z06 but I fail to give a ******. I don't like the car, don't care if it out handles the 911 or the GTR. It just doesn't turn my crank.

Saleen Stang = meat grinder for both...
and cheaper..

1991 crx with a fully built type-r motor (sleeves, pistons, the whole works) with a T3 turbo kit, potential 400hp-500hp+.... all for less then 15,000.... so what? I dont think buying this car is about horse power comparing... its about comparing your wallet size...=D

Another rice labeler... *sigh*.... Im going to assume you know that Infinity and Nissan are the same company.... and that Infinity sells the higher line of all nissan vehicles.... so why wouldnt they put a $80,000 sports car under there higher line dealership? An $80,000 ricer.... so the acura nsx must also be a ricer too.... I learn so many new things every day...

Well the old skyline is every ricer's dream car, and it looks pretty plain until you add body kits, wings, etc. The NSX already looks exotic, so it's kind of like ricing out a lambo, what's the point?

m5 bases around 80, and has 500hp

U forget +10~15k Markup = 90-95g's And believe me, ALL M5's have a markup unless someone orders one, and then cancels on the dealor. How do i know this? because i was actually going to get the 2003 M5, sticker said 77,544, then i saw right next to that
+15,000. If u can get a M5 for the sticker price without any dealor markup whatsoever, then go for it, otherwise, no dealorship is going to sell you a car at the base msrp when they know they can sell it for 15g's more. And Believe me, i actually saw the waiting list on the m5, and its insanely long.

...and then you realize you have a 500hp FWD econobox with absolutely no traction. Yay!
