It is supposedly going to cost in the neighborhood of $45K MSRP....but dealers will surely screw that all up with their greedy behavior.

I'd actually consider it a good deal at 45k

I wonder if this one has live axle too....

The base Mustang is around 20k and you think this is going to cost 50? MSRP will be low, production will also be low so expect large dealer markups and I doubt you will get it for even MSRP.

If they were smart they'd shoot for under $50,000. Knowing Ford they won't do that and it'll be closer to 60k.

I'd like to know why they're making this a limmited run... if they flooded the market with these and dropped the price, they'd sell'em like hotcakes ;)

Lol, a base vette starts at $45k, not $55k.

I'm saying 65k, because it's the fastest mustang built, production will be low, and the demand will be high.

I sure hope that with that kind of car, the suspension setup in the rear won't remain the same.

A liitle google action would have shown you that the target MSRP base sticker price is targeted at $39K which means that depending upon what options if any are offered the price should fall in or around the $45K mark. This is what I have heard from other sourced also.

I'd guess $45-50k. Base Vette starts at about $45k, and Ford currently has no competition for it. This would fill that market.

Plus, limited production + dealer markup would probably push it closer to that point - even if it did sticker @ 40k or so.

I'm thinking $41,500 for the coupe. $5,000 to $6,000 more for the convertible.

Ford has stated too many times that the expect the coupe to come in "around $40,000", it would be a PR nightmare if they priced it over $45,000.

If it comes in at $40K, I'm trading in the Mark VIII.

While I agree completely, this whole discussion is rather pointless. Ford won't be able to keep up with demand, & dealers will be able to charge whatever the hell they want.

I too expect it to be low 40's sticker, but don't expect anyone to get one for anywhere near that.

Had a dealership up here claim that when they became available they would be happy to order me one at MSRP. Should've gotten that in writing. If they'd do that, I'd buy two through them and flip one of them. Pay off half of my own GT 500 with the profit from flipping the other one. :p
