I hate to say it, but it looks good. Too bad while GM gets cleaner with their styling, Toyota gets uglier.

i think chevy had a clean look to their avalance way before ridgeline came out

The last pic is from mid 2004. The design of the 2007 Avalanche was locked most likely in late 2003 early 2004.

And as swtethan said, there has been a "bare" Avalanche out since '03 I believe.

The last pic is from mid 2004. The design of the 2007 Avalanche was locked most likely in late 2003 early 2004.

And as swtethan said, there has been a "bare" Avalanche out since '03 I believe.

Its the more rounded edges and overall rounder/cleaner look that makes me think Ridgeline, not the lack of the plastic body cladding. I too would prefer a more edgy looking Avalanche than what that one looks.

If you colored that plastic rollbar looking thing then it would look a lot like a Ridgeline.

How long ago was the design of the Ridgeline locked though? The concept showed up about this time in 2004, didn't it?
