Neither, I'd rather be ran over by either of those two than be caught driving them.

Less than 50 replies in an Accord vs Camry thread? WTF is going on?

Oh, and based on actual drives: Accord > Fusion > Camry. Haven't gotten a chance to beat up an Altima yet. :(

Personally, I think both the camry and accord are too expensive for what they are. I'd rather get a fusion for less $. Or get a v6 for the same price as a 4 banger.

You mean the simple and inituitive design that we all use to?

I have this month's Consumer Reports which reviews both these cars among others. I'll post some highlights when I get a chance at home.

I don't know, it looks pretty dated to me. The fact that the basic dash and steering wheel design hasn't changed isn't quite an issue (the newer buttons and stereo/nav console help) but the standard seats and automatic shifter show their age.

Have you never actually sat in a 6G/7G Accord? 7G interior >>>>>>> 6G.

Did you mean to suggest that the 7G interior "is greater than" the 6G interior? Because an ">" would have sufficed. What you typed looks like an arrow.

I'll take an accord interior over impala, malibu, and Ford 500/Taurus.

I drove in a 06 Malibu, what a horror that was. Surprisingly tho, it was good on gas.

I think the current Legacy and Mazda6 interiors look nice. Then again, I haven't sat in any of the aforementioned...

Mazda 6 is pretty nice. But I don't think the accord interior has gone downhill. It has some minor change to it. My family has an 98 and I sat in a 04, there are some difference.

At least they didn't cut quality.

I sat in the newest Camry, I didn't like it, it was the cheapest trim. still, it definitely cut corners compare to the 96 version.

I wonder why Mazda 6 and Altima is not on the list, they made these things so well just to get a cut of the family sedan market share.

I was mistaken, those cars weren't reviewed in the issue I have. However this issue does list family sedan ratings.

In the 4 cylinder family Camry Hybrid got 3rd and Accord EX got 4th, however the Honda was tested $7k cheaper and rated a higher "Predicted Reliability."

The Accord EX V6 is at the top of six cylinder sedans, Accord EX Hybrid V6 in 4th, and Camry XLE V6 in 5th. Of those the the Accord EX was tested the cheapest, but the hybrid's Predicted Reliability was a notch above the others.

All of the above makes me wish I had a scanner.

The 07 Altima is so much more fun to drive than the Boat, I mean Camry, and the Accord, which is due for a redesign. Plus, I think it just looks better, and the VQ rocks!

I own one (3.5 SE) :p

I fail to see how this is bland. Looks sleek to me. Well, at least the front. Looks rather bloated from the side.

as i say for all these threads:

if you like to drive, buy the accord. you'll love it.

if you don't like to drive, buy the camry. you'll love it.

it's pretty much as simple as that.

I'd say Camry, but the Accord is better looking, both are really just practical cars though.

I would also take the altima over the accord

But if between the two Accord. Event though the styling is a bit more conservative, it drives a lot better than the camry. Much more responsive.

I own a '05 Malibu LTZ, what was so horrible about it?? Not sporty i agree but mine
gets 23/33MPG with a 200 HP V-6 rides and brakes very well. It wont sling through
corners like an Altima or Mazda6 but then again I live in FL, not a twisty canyon road
in sight!

i have a 2007 civic coupe and i LOVE it, but i am sorry for the larger vehicle the camry is FAST better than the accord. it looks SO much nicer, totoally redesigned where as the accord is only slightly different fromt he previous model, and in the inside (guages etc) are much nicer on the camry.
