If it were a choice between the two I would probably take the Camry.
I think both look ugly though.

Actually, the Camry redesign makes it look really cool. My GF has an older camry and it looks like only a 60 year old woman would drive it... the newer ones look like young people's cars!

Camry. No question here. It's not even fair.

based on what?

I think the new Camry and the new Accord both look like sh!t compared to their old designs. However the Accord looks like more sh!t. The Camry is a downgrade but IMO it's not THAT bad of a downgrade.

Toyota added a lot more features into the Camry that makes vanilla just a lot better. You get more for your money essentially. MP3 player jack? Come on. That's the easiest thing in the world and we finally get it as STANDARD. Makes me wanna shoot someone when Honda makes you upgrade for that. Both cars drive pretty well, and I'm glad Toyota upgraded the Camry's V6 to something decently competetive now.

So I'd say it was a tight race before and the Accord had a slight edge in the previous generation, but with the new Accord look... ugh. It looks like a fvcking domestic. Even ignoring the fact that domestics suck and say that you're a domestic fanboy, I don't think you would want your Honda looking like a domestic.

Test drive both and decide for yourself. I personally think the Accord is sportier and Camry looks better.

So what exactly is the "Domestic" look?

Accord. Camry went (ugly-okay that's an opinion), but the interior went to low rent. The Accord's interior is like someone cared about it.
Accord drives much nicer and way more communicative. Camry is starting to turn into Buick.

Between those two, I decided on the Accord. I believe the Accord has full front and rear axles while the Camry has independent suspension. Also, Camry uses struts. In the end, the obvious choice is the Accord. Camry's have that giant overblown nose that reeks of Bangle.

Neither, I'd rather be ran over by either of those two than be caught driving them.

WHAT?

You are absolutely wrong. Both cars use Macpherson strut designs.

You are both wrong. Both cars have independent suspension, but Accord has double wishbones, while Camry has struts. Difference is not that great since Accord is tuned too soft to take advantage of the suspension geometry, but at least it doesn't handle like the boat that is Camry.

It's interesting to note that more people from California like the previous blandtastical generations of these two vehicles.

No love for the new altima? Although I hate them I think they look better than an Accord or Camry.
