It's done. 421 HP and 386 ft-lbs TQ are the final numbers. I was kinda hoping for more, but there's always something I can do to it.

~70 HP with NA mods is pretty darn good, in my opinion.

Does it feel any different in the rev band down low?

Initial launches feel kinda sluggish at first, but after a second it's like the torque punches all at once. Everything past idle seems instant though. It's just the throttle response from idle is a bit slower than stock. The biggest percentage gains are from 4K to 6.5K RPM. It still feel slightly faster at lower RPMs, but the higher RPMs just keep on pulling. It feels totally different 4K+.

I've been having problems with cold engine idle. Starting up the car is fine. It will stay idle if I let it sit still. Taking off and then pushing the clutch in at 2K+ RPM for a stop will drop the RPMs so low the engine dies. Good think I know how to heel-and-toe to keep the RPMs up when coming to a stop. Once the engine is warmed up it never stalls. The shop said they could do a cold engine tune to keep it from stalling. I'll have to get that done in the coming weeks.

Killed a nice 03/04 Mustang Cobra SVT vert yesterday. Sounded completely stock. He thought he was the s#it. We had a lot of highway and he must have had few bus lengths on me at the start. I punch it in 3rd at 65 while he guns it and the car keeps pulling in 3rd, 4th, and into 5th. I pass at over 160 and he's just a blur in my rear view mirrior.

I let him get near me after I slow down and he yells "That thing is fast!" I had a smile all the way home.

Stock 03/04 Cobra? Should play the lottery, thats more rare than spotting a unicorn or mermaid. They only put down 370 rwhp stock lol.

The sound of a stock pulley Eaton is annoying. It drones on and on and on pulling forever in one gear and takes days to climb to redline.

I didn't know the 03/04 Cobras even came in automatics. My 06 GTO is 6-spd manual.

There was a local cruise-in today that happens every friday in this area and I swear I saw his car in it. I wonder if he saw my GTO. Didn't drive the Vette to it this time.
