Very, very nice. Stick a manual on that V8 and they should be taking a lot of business away from the 5-Series.

In my opinion this looks light years better than the last one...

LOL, the old M45 looked like ass. Good riddance
Yeah, I know. I'm weird. I think that the Lincoln Town Car is a beautiful piece of machinery too.

The upcoming M45 is beautiful, but the outgoing M45 looked elegant as well.
Ahh, I thought this car only came in V8 but I read the last line and it says it comes in a 3.5L V6. Nice .... !! The V6 Sport manual would be good for the youngin's.

The interior is ugly IMO.

Saw it at the Autoshow and I wasn't impressed. In fact, practically all the interiors of the new Infinitis don't do it for me.

direct asault on the 5 series. will probably kill the GS considering lexus' traditional boat mentality.

I like the exterior styling, the interior is too cold for my taste, it doesn't looking very inviting.

I don't think a manuel is appropiate for this type of car... (unless its a M5)
this is a luxury car for crying out loud, if you want sporty go with the G35. M45 is for men.

M is their sports sedan series, their Q is their luxury model.

Yea right - BMW only sells a VERY small percentage of manual 5 series out of all 5 series sales.

Having owned one, I wouldn't call the GS a boat.

I also disagree with you that it will kill the GS. Lexus kills Infiniti in cars sold and owner loyalty. Infiniti has a long way to go to catch up with Lexus on luxury, quality and service.

AFAIK, Infiniti consistently has the highest customer service ratings. Luxury is in the eye of the beholder, but I would assume but competitive cars in the Infiniti/Lexus lineup both have very similar amenities. Quality? Both are Japanese cars with strong reputations, but Toyota is typically ranked #1, so I'd give quality to Lexus.

Of course you can have similar amenities but that doesn't necessarily make the cars the same. Take the G35 for example. I personally like the car and on paper, the check list features read perfectly. Then you sit in one and you notice how cheap the plastic is, how bad the stereo (Blose) is, etc. Sitting in the QX56, I can't help but wonder what the interior designers were smoking. The center console is freaking awful and very similar to the upcoming M45.

Of course its my own opinion but its obvious to me that Infiniti skimps on the interior quite a bit these days. I used to be a fan of the J30 which has a sweet interior and the Q45 but the new cars by them just don't match the quality of Lexus.
