I don't mind the roof slope at the back, but from the A-pillar forward that is a disgusting car. And the trunk is way too short to be called a Charger. 🙂
So, other than the color, the lines, the weak motor and the plastic truck interior, it's a good car.

Weak motor? Right....

I should say weak for it's size, not weak for that particular car it's going in.
For a supposed musclecar throwback whose name will be used in the NASCAR series? Yes.
Compare to other 5.7 litre cars, perhaps some that GM makes.
Heck, how big is that V6 Nissan engine that's up around 300 now?
350 from a 350 is old school. Not in a good way.

..it has more in common with the 68/69 Barracuda then a Charger of the same era..with the addition of 4 doors.

345HP, 425HP vs. What?

As far as Nissan's engines, how much does that "godly" 35QV weigh in at? Better yet, how much does it COST?

LB/HP matters.
HP/$ matters.
HP/L is a crutch that people with no clue on reality use to make themselves feel better when thier $25,000 "sportscars" that get outrun by $25,000 muscle cars by a full two seconds in the quarter, and all over road courses.

Of course, it's not fair because GM/Ford/Chrysler decided that displacement was more effective than 3 more cams.
It's not fair because Nissan only put a V6 in the 350Z. It's not fair because Dodge put a turbo on the Neon. The heavy 3500LB Cameros are slow compared to the light 3400LB Golf R34 or the 3100LB Eclipse.

Sorry geno, if you got your ass kicked by a car that cost the same as, or less than you. You don't really have an excuse.

aside from the ugly paint scheme, I like it. 🙂

it would be freakin' hot as a 2 door, though ... DO YOU HEAR THAT DODGE??? 2 DOOR!!

Aside from the ugly exterior, the lack of a coupe, the lack of manual tranny option....hmmmm what's left?
Oh yeah it's got a Hemi....that's the only good thing I can say about it.

GEE!!! THEY DIDNT BORROW FROM THE NEW MUSTANG MUCH DID THEY?!?!?!

but they somehow made the front headlights/trim gay.

why cant car companies just let the muscle car greats stay dead, or at least spend ALOT OF TIME AND MONEY MAKING SURE THEY DONT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A MAGNUM WHO DECIDED TO BECOME A TRANSEXUAL!

if chevy brings back the chevelle i vote we commit homicide on everyone in detroit.

EDIT: but its better than the new GTOs. so i give them that.

looks like an 05 mustang to me but shorter in length

what was that one pontiac that was really slick looking but was real heavy?
all black, with devil-style spoiler, IIRC

Dodge Charger eBay Charity Auction

Dodge Charger is back! ... on the track and on the street, and Dodge is celebrating with a special charity auction on eBay. The auction package features the first volume-production 2006 Dodge Charger off the Brampton assembly line. The package also includes the Charger race car shell used during the press reveal at the 2005 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Mich., that was signed by Richard Petty, seven-time NASCAR Cup Series title winner, Kasey Kahne, NASCAR Rookie-of-the-Year and Dieter Zetsche, Chrysler Group President and CEO.

Also included in the auction is a Dodge Charger Experience package that features airfare, accommodations and tickets to the Dodge Charger 500 race in Darlington, South Carolina, on May 7 and a chance to meet "The King," Richard Petty to receive the Charger keys. The proceeds from the winning bid will be shared equally by the Victory Junction Gang and the Salvation Army charities.

Bidding began at http://www.ebay.com/charger on February 1. As of Feb. 4, approximately 7,400 interested bidders have visited the auction Web site page, with a high bid of $37,100 being placed. The auction will close on February, 11, 2005.

OMG, Yuck, not the color, just the general shape of the car! like someone else said, it looks like a boxier 4 door Mustang.

I love chrysler's pity they died out in australia back in the 70's we had some cool chargers and pacers! with 300hp hemi sixpacks!

Pity it's a four door, coupes are dead sexy!

Wow, they keep making the charger look like the challenger.

I can't take this car seriously without a wing thats so big it'd put just about any ricer to shame, and the correct stripe, not to mention that the care its being based on is not a charger in looks anyways.
