2006 Civic Dx vs. 2006 Corolla Ce

I'm also trying to decide on which transmission would be better. I'm a young guy and probably won't mind driving stick, but is there any of you that live in urban areas and wish you would've gotten auto instead of stick?

On a Civic or Corolla the clutch should be light enough that you won't have problems with it. Still, there's almost no mileage penalty from an automatic these days and they are a lot nicer if you get stuck in stopped traffic.

Manual FTW! I drive a Corolla stick shift in heavy traffic every day and it doesn't bother me. As for which car, civic and corolla are not much different. The civic has a little more horsepower, and the corolla is a bit better on gas. I'd get the civic, since it has an all new design for 2006.
