I can't afford it, but I really want it. How do I stop day dreaming and really dreaming about it?

Keep in mind that first year american cars can be awful risky?

No doubt they will look better next year anyway. They need the louvered side windows bad, imho.

ACK! I doubt I'll be able to afford one next year either. DAMN THIS DEBT!!!! My g/f is trying to get me to try to go for the standard, but I want the 2005 GT!!

Well, I hope I can get one next year. I'll cry when the Cobras come out.

Your best bet is to get the 4.0 V6.

Add a rear sway bar and a supercharger. For less $$$ than a GT, you get a faster car with better handling and much cheaper insurance.

Buy a GTO instead.

More HP, better interior, 6spd trans

Or to really help you out, think about the 140,000 units of Mustangs that Ford sells every year here in the US. You too can look like everyone else.

Better yet, head to the dealer and look at the lines other than dead center front. Once you get to looking at the sides and back you will find this to be a horrid ugly design.

Best part of my opinion is that I drive a Ford. I just really dislike the looks of the $28,215 Mustang GT and think the design will be redone in a few years. I see the cars piling up on dealer lots as women, the main demographic of V6 Mustangs, find the retro styling repulsive.

And if all else fails, PORN is the distractor you need!

Leasing can be a good thing when you can't afford to pay for it outright. Unless you want to rent it....fleet sales only allows the v6 verisons, so you may not get the full driving experience by renting it. I'm gonna go visit the local dealer and test drive one.

Really ? Where at ? I though 25-26k was a bargain but for 23k I might have to actually buy one.

Just look at who makes it, that should stop your daydreams.
