I looked through infiniti's website and looked at their pictures and i just want to confirm, the 2005 doesn't offer a cassette player, right?
Fvck your right. This isn't an option either. Well Infinity and their new fangled high highfalutin technology just lost my business.

For a $100 replacement from a 04 model?

I have a hard wired FM modulator for my XM radio. It's better than the wireless and sounds good enough.

Cassette adapters suck, but ALL of those FM modulators suck more heartily.

I too wish that all OEM decks would just come with a miniplug line-in. If there was one manufacturer that would do that, they would get my business for years to come.

I have to use the cassette adapter in my RSX-S

Perhaps cassete adapters are crap, but don't knock cassette...back in the day they used to make Dolby-S which was IIRC the same quality as a CD...as if anything was actually recorded in it:p

why would a cassette adapter suck ?

Cassettes are capable of high fidelity, the biggest drawback is tape hiss, which doesn't apply to a cassette adapter, does it ?
