My same thoughts
Seems legit. Technically it seems like two mildly adapted ATTS (automatic torque transfer system) differentials incorporated into a single casing, one ATTS differential for F/R split and the other for left/right split. ATTS was in Preludes a few years ago to counter the FWD tendency to understeer by sending more torque to the outside drive wheel during cornering before slippage occured.Originally posted by: bR

If it was April fools, the head line would be something like "Honda anounce it's production of a Turbo Sports Compact car..>"

Well looks like it's not a fwd-till-slip AWD system eh NFS4?
but how is this different from other AWD systems? The ATTESA-ETS system used by Nissan employs the same type of methodology in their AWD system.
Good to see Honda come out wiht it though, who knows wat kind of cool sh!t they can do once this AWD system streams down into lower-prcied sport cars![]()
Don't you mean the SHLP-AWD? SUPER-HANDLING L337-POWAR ALL WHEEL DRIVE!!!!Originally posted by: GTaudiophile
Hmmm...an Acura TL with SH-AWD might be VERY tempting...should it work as advertised.
