This comparison is baloney. In the final scoring you can see the "feature content" category where the M45 got 40pts while the Acura and Lexus got 66.6pts. wtf? The infiniti offers all those equipments too and a loaded M45 will be cheaper than a GS430 anyways. If all 3 cars had got the same scoring in that category the M45 would have won by 1 pt.

The M45 might not be for everyone, since is geared towards sports. However, using that logic 90% of the population should simply drive Avalons.

Well - this just proves that Edmunds car comparison tests have been going downhill in the past 2-3 years.

Its just stupid the way the results came out based on the actual review.

I agree. Most people cannot understand this. The daily driver is a Toyota Camry and the two fun cars are two Benzes. After driving the camry, then going to the Lexus event and driving ALL their models, they really are the same car. Its like taking a Civic, ricing it out, then saying you have a Ferrari since your Civic makes 400hp. BULLSH!T.

It's not that Infiniti doesn't offer those options, just that they're tester didn't come with them, so Infiniti gets penalized.

In his second post he started comparing a V6 Camry to a Lexus GS.

You agree with him, but you would pay the same $50k for a German car right? Hell you would probably pay $40k for the lowest model German car from Mercedes or BMW.
