I dunno man, I always considered the 911 Turbo to be pretty damn exotic :D

Move to So Cal and you'll see why a 911 Turbo isn't an exotic :). I love the car but you'll see one every so often. This thing on the other hand.... :)

ahh yes a common complaint. Just not enough pickup for passing. lol wtf???

What I'm saying is that for the price tag, I want a little more umph. If I wanted to save money, I could get a Corvette Z06, and be more powerful than a lot of porche's.

Having a porsche is more than having just pure speed. You have one of the most well built cars on the road. Plus I don't think anything touches on their styling.

Every current porsche has more than enough speed than I'll ever want/need.

Looks sweet but I would take a Ferrai over it though.

Porsche underpowered? For what? Some of the most powered productin cars you can buy. You can't compare production cars with cars that have been modified.

Gawd damn!! If I hear ANOTHER person comparing a $50,000 Vette to a $300,000+ Carrera GT or $500,000+ Enzo, I'm gonna start painting the walls red & grey with blood and brain matter with my baseball bat:|.

"Performance
Porsche claims a 0-to-62-mph acceleration time of 3.9 seconds for the Carrera GT, but we think the company is being modest. After all, Porsche claimed 4.1 seconds for the GT2, and we measured a 0-to-60 time of 3.8 seconds for that car. Expect the Carrera GT to get to 60 in about 3.5 seconds and to scorch the quarter-mile in the high 10s at more than 130 mph."

Maybe it is underpowered for wining LeMans....

Can your Acu-Ruh do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and 205 MPH? I didn't think so :p

Then all you would have is a Chevrolet.

I thought the 959 was exotic.

The 959 was a technology showcase, but not really an "exotic." Afterall, it was a tricked out 911 with a sophisticated AWD system, aerodynamics and powertrain. What makes people think that it was an exotic was the fact that it wasn't legal here in the US and they aren't seen very much here.

The 993 Turbo was about as close as Americans came to seeing a street legal 959.
