I like it, though it looks a lot like the Bonneville.

I don't really like the nobs for the heating/AC. Looks cheap.

I've never noticed that on my mom's 2k2 impala. The radio feels solid and sounds great, especially for not being the TOL unit.

I hate that piece of trip on the doors. The car would look great without it, IMO.

Looks ok to me.. evolutionary changes on the body style, and the interior doesn't look too bad (from what I can see from the pic; have to sit in one to be sure). The engine needs more horsepower, given that the supercharged 3.8 was making 240hp back in '99. I agree about the radio; I dislike the big gray cartoonish buttons.

The exterior doesn't look that bad except for the round foglights. Those foglights belong on an SUV not a sport sedan. The interior is still your typical GM though.

LOL! :D It's a lease, and it's what I could afford at the time ($300/mo car payment). I'd like my next car to be either a Saleen or Cobra Mustang, or a BMW 540i... (I waver back and forth, for different reasons)

I STILL don't get why GM has to bathe their Pontiacs interiors in ugly ass grey plastic
Maybe they signed a 20-year agreement with their plastic supplier. Let's see, that only leaves us with about 8 more years of seeing the grey plastic.

Wow, looks like the lines on that car are actually getting cleaner and less cluttered. And there's is no body cladding on the sides! This is a far cry from that Cavalier/Sunfire thing someone posted a few days ago. Those garish headlights and foglamps still suck, but overall its a much cleaner car...on the outside.

Wow I am impressed - looks almost really good. They should have either integrated the grill part into the hood or make the gap between hood and the bumper/grill part smaller, its to visible as it is.

I think if the internals (interieur, engine, gasconsumption, suspension) are as good as it looks from outside they could even sell this in Europe but they wont anyway (well i admit pontiac would have to conquer the initial scepticism barrier)

And yes the plastic of the interieur looks smooth, hard and cheap... but pontiac aint the only manufacturer using this type of stuff

You're right. Buick, Chevy, and GMC use it too :)

Hoping that the GTO (when available and in final form) nterior will be better but who knows.

With rear wheel drive, 6M and LS1 power for almost the same price, I only see people who need 4 doors or lower insurance rates buying the Gran Prix over the GTO. Those who are interested in performance first, that is.

You must be a complete moron, and I can guarantee that this car is nice than anything you will probably ever own. If you took the time to research before making a stupid post, then you would realize how easy these cars are to mod. The powertrains are said to be bulletproof, and In my opinion, the styling is very clean and the interior is a step up. However, I was under the impression that the 2004 would be 280hp/280tq. Oh well, still a great car for the money!

Compared to an Altima SE, this Grand Prix is still subpar. Hell, even the new 240 HP '03 Accord EX should have no trouble kicking this thing.

Pontiac's exterior styling is definitely getting better overall (although that new Sunfire looks horrendous and the Aztek is still nauseating). I've liked several of their concept cars lately, and the Vibe looks better than the Matrix (but then, I haven't liked the styling on most of Toyota's recent cars).

Their interiors are still totally sub-par, though. I'm still laughing at that Fisher-Price radio in the upcoming Sunfire.

I am a Grand Prix enthusiast and I am going to skip on this car.

I've seen it in person and its nice, but not that nice.

Engine should have more hp imho

Paddle shifters are the bomb.. who needs a stick when you have paddle shifters

I'd rather have the Gforce grand prix than this one.

Are you referring to the auto option on the GTO? yes, there is one but most people will buy the 6-spd. there is also talk of it being at about 350hp, and if any of you know z28's and trans ams, they come heavily UNDERRATED from the factory. I personally can't wait for the GTO.
