Hmmm - that "rendering" looks pretty bizarre. The Titan sounds like a great truck, though, and I imagine this will be a nice SUV. I can't imagine I will ever buy a full-size SUV anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter what I think!

The Pathfinder is competition to the 4-Runner, this new one is Sequoia Sized.

Sweet merciful crap, that think looks ugly.

How full size are they talking? Expedition/Navigator big or Excursion big?

Wow...looks like the 4 runner has some competition

This will be more Sequoia-sized, I think.

hmmm depends on the engines Nissan chooses I think. If they follow Toyota that means the Pathfinder will have the 5.4V8?? :Q

Like I said in the other thread - looks like the moon rover from the old arcade game Moon Patrol.

I loved my old Sentra and I'm loving my crew cab Frontier (the pre-transformer body style model) but Nissan as well as a lot of other manufacturers really have me scratching my head these days when it comes to designs. Maybe MY tastes are just out of style, but it's almost as if they're wanting to step back into the 70s with all these sharp edges and bloated-looking body styles these days. I'm not a big SUV fan, but I am looking forward to seeing how the Titan does in the full-sized truck market. That's a tough market to break into given the lifelong allegiance a lot of truck owners have to their brand.

Well, it is a preliminary sketch, and if you ask me, if you liked the Titan, this looks like an SUV ripoff of that, so...

Why are they ruining such beautiful designs such as the current Pathfinder?
rolleye.gif

Classy, rugged, handsome and utilitarian at the same time.

Nissan is really screwing up some of their classic cars - maxima, pathfinder, etc.

It's not a Pathfinder replacement.
