That's an easy one for me...FX45 by a LANDSLIDE!!!! The SRX is as fugly as the CTS and its interior is drab and boring.
http://www.caranddriver.com/xp/Caranddriver/roadtests/2003/february/0302_roadtest_fx45.xmlInside, the FX45 looks and feels rich, with genuine aluminum trim used to highlight the prominently grained leather upholstery that does a credible job of mimicking the hides used by the likes of Ferrari. The console lid, the arm rests, and the door panels touched by your elbows all feel extravagantly cushy, and the overall control layout is excellent.

I'd take the caddy over the infinity. More room both cargo and passenger wise. It'll be more comfortable I'm sure too. I actually prefer the interior of the Caddy as well. Very Audi'esque if you ask me. It's "warm" feeling. I like that. I don't care for the industrialized looks of the new nissan stuff(or the new ford's for that matter).
I agree about the powertrain. The 4.5L in the Nissan is sweeeet. I bet the car is a kick to drive, but who buys an SUV/crossover to race?Originally posted by: NFS4
Worst stance? It has the stance of a sports car with the wheels pushed out to the corners. Not to mention that it would kill the SRX in handling/breaking/acceleration. They both have about the same cargo capacity...
Since when is black and aluminum considered classy? Light, warm tones are signature in a luxury vehicle.and the the FX45 definitely has the classier interior with real aluminum trim.
Sounds like you're saying the SRX's styling isn't distinctive. Not that I don't believe you, but where'd you get the cargo room specs? The FX45 has a distinct look that no other vehicle can claim while still having AWD and great passenger/cargo volume.
Cargo volume (rear seat up/rear seat down):
SRX: 27.4/64.5
FX45: 32.4/59.5
Of course, with the obvious Nissan-tilt to this forum. The SRX is nothing but a crappy-looking CTS on stilts. We could always do a poll and see which would get the nod. I'll put $100 on the FX45![]()
Most people by crossovers for the ride/handling of sedan and the cargo/space of a truck-based SUV. The FX45 does that in spades.I agree about the powertrain. The 4.5L in the Nissan is sweeeet. I bet the car is a kick to drive, but who buys an SUV/crossover to race?
