That's an easy one for me...FX45 by a LANDSLIDE!!!! The SRX is as fugly as the CTS and its interior is drab and boring.

I like the Caddy interior it's simple not as tacky as the FX45. :) Is the console in the FX45 aluminum? :p must get kinda hot in the sun.

The glossy black and titanium trim looks like it belongs on a Honda.

Hell yeah it does. LOL at the stupid CD slot sticking out of the middle of the dash on the SRX. It has the same basic design as the CTS dash which has been criticized all to hell for the past two years. As for the FX45:

Inside, the FX45 looks and feels rich, with genuine aluminum trim used to highlight the prominently grained leather upholstery that does a credible job of mimicking the hides used by the likes of Ferrari. The console lid, the arm rests, and the door panels touched by your elbows all feel extravagantly cushy, and the overall control layout is excellent.

I'd take the caddy over the infinity. More room both cargo and passenger wise. It'll be more comfortable I'm sure too. I actually prefer the interior of the Caddy as well. Very Audi'esque if you ask me. It's "warm" feeling. I like that. I don't care for the industrialized looks of the new nissan stuff(or the new ford's for that matter).

It doesn't have more room. If you look at the seat up/seat down figures (posted above), they are EXACTLY equal.

I agree about the powertrain. The 4.5L in the Nissan is sweeeet. I bet the car is a kick to drive, but who buys an SUV/crossover to race?
and the the FX45 definitely has the classier interior with real aluminum trim.
Since when is black and aluminum considered classy? Light, warm tones are signature in a luxury vehicle.
The FX45 has a distinct look that no other vehicle can claim while still having AWD and great passenger/cargo volume.

Cargo volume (rear seat up/rear seat down):

SRX: 27.4/64.5
FX45: 32.4/59.5
Sounds like you're saying the SRX's styling isn't distinctive. Not that I don't believe you, but where'd you get the cargo room specs?
The SRX is nothing but a crappy-looking CTS on stilts. We could always do a poll and see which would get the nod. I'll put $100 on the FX45:p
Of course, with the obvious Nissan-tilt to this forum.:)

The Caddy one is better except that stupid CD slot just ruins the whole thing.

they're both nothing extraordinary... but the FX45 as a vehicle is WAY better.

Most people by crossovers for the ride/handling of sedan and the cargo/space of a truck-based SUV. The FX45 does that in spades.

The SRX isn't distinctive. It looks like a CTS on 'roids. The FX45 looks like nothing else.

The stats are from the latest issue of Automobile Magazine. Both the SRX and FX45 are on the cover and they each have major articles dedicated to them. And I had the stats reversed. It's supposed to be:

FX45: 27.4/64.5
SRX: 32.4/59.5

One nod to the Caddy is that I'd have to drive close to an hour and a half to get to the closest Infiniti dealer. There's 3 caddy dealers within a 15 minute drive.

Major inconvenience for routine maintanence.
