Count me in! I still have a good bit of money in savings left from Uncle Sam....I could always give my wife my current car :Q

Called him. He said it was an error. I think it would still be false advertising would it not?

Pricemistakes are not false advertising. False advertising is when someone uses a low price intentionally, and then does not honor it intentionally. Accidentally missing one 0 when you type in the price is not false advertising

But how can we be ceartin this is just a "mistake"?

Common sense, lol? Even a moron wouldn't use a 'purposely mistaken' price this low under the actual value of the truck. Now if it had been listed at around $12k or so...

it is a laugher nothing more
It'd get LAUGHED OUT of OT . . . only a real Ferengi would even consider this.

That said, I bought a brand new 2002 Kia Rio for $5988 (the ad car at the "ad price" - no trade in; CASH) . . . So far, it's given me 30K trouble-free miles (with 70K left on the warranty). 😀

Where is the Grand Nagus anyways?? He should be all over this like stink on poo. 😀

Make Toyota
Model Tacoma Prerunner Xtracab 2WD
Year 2003
Mileage N/A
MSRP $2,113.00

Wow. That's the MSRP. I wonder what kind of a deal I can make?😛

A friend of mine bought a 2001 Expedition a couple weeks ago. The local Ford dealership listed it in the paper as $16k something instead of the $24k they were asking for.. Somehow they mismatched the prices of two different vehicles (the $16k was for an Explorer) and he brought the paper in and they sold him a 2001 Expedition with 21k miles for $16k....

Wish I had of caught that mistake, although I don't think I would want a Ford.

Jason

I just called the dealer ship, they said it is an error and they have missed a 0, the actual price is 21130. They corrected the add, but it will be displayed on their website on Monday.

Yea..... but do they offer 0% financing is the question....

Those damn car salesman. I bet they try and pull a bait n switch on me when I get down there... 😉

Finally..... a truck priced right.

AND DAMN YOU GUYS FOR CALLING!!!! YOU probably screwed us out of this deal! 😛

Wow, that's impressive. For only $6K, did you get the stick?
It is a very "basic" car. Manual tranny (which I prefer, anyway as I get 35 MPGallon), no A/C (ok since I live in San Diego in the Summer) but WITH an alarm (passive and active - included) and I pulled out the factory speakers (junk) and put in a Pioneer CD/Alpine Amp/Polk Audio Separates and Sub (for a 'hot dealin' $600 more, self-installed).
It may not be "stylin' " but it sure is cheap transpo with a nice little 'bump'. This deal CAN be duplicated - just look for the "Ad Car" , i.e. "only ONE car at this price" - and 'go for it' (ignoring all the UPsells and pressure the dealer will put you through). 😀
