The Murano's styling seems to be an acquired taste. I believe you have to think of it as a space ship or a Star Trek shuttle to look at it the way the designers intended. Look at the front end for example... most SUVs have a flat surface up there. The Murano's nose is V shaped.

It's only ugly because of the plastic cladding. :p If it wasn't for that, it would just be a realitivly normal looking compact van.

but the fact remains that it is produced with the plastic, making it ugly!
