I like the Rav4 Styling better tho

Yep... my neighbor has a CRV... and we have a Rav4... its a lot roomier inside than how it looks outside.

Blah to both of em, go for teh Pilot!!!! It's awesome! Only car I know that has a FACTORY BUILT IN SUBWOOFER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or go more upscale and get the Acura MDX...one well-made vehicle

No wait...what am I saying??? I hate SUVs 😉

Seriously, the CR-V is pretty nice...sold one in my month of car sales. My former neighbor's daughter had a RAV4, though, and I thought it looked better...sportier.

What? Many, MANY cars have factory subwoofers. Saturns, Hondas, Chryslers, GMs, Toyotas....... on and on.

My wife's sister has a CR-V. It's an older one though. She really likes it. Never had any trouble with it. It has the four cylinder and a stick, and we got 30 miles per gallon out of it driving from Ohio to Florida.

Just for comparison, you might want to put the Ford Escape and the Saturn VUE in that list also. I know that the Ford has had a lot of problems. The Saturn hasn't had many problems, and is also a bit bigger than the others, although it is still in the same basic price class.

The next time you are behind one of these, take a look at the rear suspension. You can see the driveshafts going to the rear wheels. Those things look like they're about 1" in diameter! Definitely not adequate for anything more than on-road duty.

Those who say that the CRV and RAV4 are Crappy don't know anything about them ...
I personally would go for the CRV ... it's more powerfull ... it's more comfortable and i really like the interior ... but here in Canada it starts at around 25000$ while the Rav4 starts at a lower pricepoint ... you cant go wrong with either of them ...
I wouldn't go for the forester just because the car isn't as nice as the CRV inside ... Don't get the escape or the tribute or the VUE for that matter though ... I really don't like the cheap plastic feel of those cars ... and the base engine of those cars aren't that powerful.
Oh yeah ... i completely forgot ... The CRV comes with a picnic table in the back.

I have not yet seen both of them in person
but this week I will pay a visit to my friend who wons a 2002 crv and see whats like. (he said the 2003 model is basically the same)
An other friend of mine also told me that RAV4 looks nicer and that the crv looks ugly..

For people that say both are crappy, what car should I get then? And is the CRV faster than the RAV4 ?
