The engine fitted on the current Accord Wagon is 2.3 liter, but the new model will receive various line-up of engines for broader range of customers. There is a 2.0 liter i-VTEC version for those customers of the Olthea, which is out of the company's line-up now. The top grade model will be fitted with a newly developed 2.4 liter unit.
Good news is that there is a version fitted with a 3.0 liter V6 unit. This unit will be fitted on the Accord sedan for the North American market.
Production of the final prototype will start in May and the new Accord Wagon will be released in October this year, two month later than the sedan.
The new Accord Wagon will welcomed both in Japan and in the European countries. >>
