Huh. Boring, oops, inoffensive as ever. I'm sure Grandpa will love it as much as his last three Corollas. ;)

Why would you want a corolla when there are SO many better cars you could buy? It looks alright - but I would go for something a little nicer :)

<< Ugly. Its too smushed in looking. Give me an Audi TT or a Camaro any day. >>

uhh... this is a $14,000+ CORROLA that we are talking about. You can not compare a Camaro nor an Audi TT to this. Both cars with decent specs would be at LEAST double the price of the Corrola. It looks pretty decent for this price range. What more do you want out of a $14k car?

$14,000? Yeah, maybe a stripped down Corolla. The ones they're showing off are a hair more than $14,000. Or maybe a few thousand hairs.

yup, well for leather i'm sure they'll hit you up for 20k or so. but still, you get fuel economy and practicality. its a different market then tts or gas sucking comaros.

It seems that the Toyota designers are copping the Nissan Altima... the new Camry and now the new Corolla have many of the same styling cues.
Then again, seems like that's "conservative design" these days... sheesh

<< the Corolla has grown up from the small family/starter car to a full fledge family car due to the size increase & fancy options. >>

The rental company tried to tell me the Corolla is a mid-size now. HA! I got inside, pushed the seat all the way back, and still couldn't get my legs comfortable. And I'm only 5'10"! The outside might be mid-sized, but the one I was in was still compact inside. And I love the Jetta and A4.

bland is the Toyota specialty. It looks OK.. not the best ever, the rims are butt, and the back is hardly gorgeous.. the front end looks nice and clean though.. it's average.

Wow, from the B-Pillar forward the resemblance to the Acura RSX is absolutely amazing. First the new Mazda RX7 and now the Corolla. Is every Japanese automaker copying Honda designs for some reason? To my eye it looks just like someone decided to combine an RSX and an IS300.
