yeah but they usually don't even need new parts, just new oil every 2500-3000 miles and they'll just keep runnin'

'90 Accord: muffler pipe replacement (due to erosion/rust) 3 times in the last 3 years.
'89 Accord: muffler pipe replacement (due to erosion/rust) 2 times in the last 4 years.
'97 Civic: muffler pipe replacement (due to erosion/rust) 2 times in the last 5 years (more acceptable, I guess).
Point is, WTF kind of material are they using for these pipes? What's with the holes after such a short amount of time?! I live in downstate NY, not snowy regions where there's tons of salt that would accelerate the erosion process.
My '95 Isuzu Rodeo just recently had a flex pipe replaced (first time any replacement on the underbody) and it's 7 years old. That's my only complaint about Hondas...
