And that spirit would be unfair judging based solely on prearranged winners?

At least Canada had the guts to stand up and get something done about it. I remember the same whining 4 years ago and nothing was done about it.

By far the coolest event, the men's snowboarding half-pipe competition and watching the US team take all 3 medals :)

David Lettermans blurred replays.

"The only way we can show these replays, without getting in trouble, is if they are really out of focus.." D. Letterman

1.Scott Hamilton doing the back flip in the closing ceremony.
2. Sarah Hughes winning the Gold. She had the best skate of ALL of the women. Hands down. I just hope she dosen't quit like Tara Lipinski it's nice to have a fresh face on top.

The hockey!

By the way: NBC coverage blew! I swear I missed about every faceoff.

NBC has to get money to broadcast. Olympic hockey does not have a red hat (guy who holds up play until TV gets back from a break). Hence, they take their 30 second break whenever they can, and sometimes they can't get back fast enough.

Sucks to be us.

Obviously Canada's double gold in hockey:)
Marc Gagnon's double gold (500m & relay) on Sat. night
Pairs FS gold(s)
That Shea guy winning gold in Skeleton two weeks after losing his grandpa who also won gold.

and yes that Aussie Alisa Camplin winning aerials, sweet:)
edit: oh and Canada won silver and bronze in that event to make it even better.

goog, I think you left a few Canadian medals out of your favorite moments...

My favorites in no particular order...

Derek Parra winning speed skating. He really let it flow at the medal ceremony, very touching.
Jim Shea winning Skeleton
Women's bobsled
Men's bobsled
Ohno and short track speed skating. (A sport that isn't on TV enough.)
Sarah Hughes winning Gold.
Men's Hockey (USA vs Russia (both games) and even the final vs Canada)
KISS in the closing ceremonies.
Men's Half-pipe
All speedskating

<< Simon Amman winning two ski jump medals. His attempt at English was pretty hilarious, but I'm not sure I saw a more excited athlete >>

Haha, his olympic scream/yell was off the wall.
My favorite moment was when Sara Hughes took the gold with her flawless (or close to it) performance in the long program. Maybe Michelle Kwan's ego learned a little something this year.

<< One of my favorite moments is a corollary to Aquaman's "hot women Olympians." I particularly enjoyed seeing the incredibly hot Aussie freestyle skiier, Alisa Camplin. I unfortunately missed her interview on Leno. :( But they definitely seemed to be focusing on her during the closing ceremonies last night (one interview, another time on camera, plus they showed several clips of her competing and on the medal stand). She might have been the highlight of the Olympics for me. ;)

Concur on these two, especially Alisa Campion of Aussie. I think she is the BABE of this olympic.

Sarah Hughes winning the gold in figure skating for the USA.

IT was a exciting womens skating competetion. I really enjoyed it, I am trying to find the judges scoring markes because I believe the Russian judge gave the Russian girl a 5.9 after several mistakes and Sara a much lower mark, and she did a perfect routine.

One of the Women's Cross Country ski event where the Italian lady fell down then had to changed to new skis then came back to win from last place, simply unreal.

When Christina Aguilera performed at the closing ceremony. She's never looked better. I never thought she looked good either.
