Look just ok to me, but doesn't it kinda look more like a sedan/station wagon hybrid to anyone else?

It looks better with the painted sideskirts and effects as shown in some of the pictures.

Personally, I like it. Porsche is not selling out, they've always been one of the most mainstream supercar producers in the world. They don't churn out small numbers of limited production cars like Ferrari or Lambo's, they sell LOTS of cars now.

I guess no one wants to remember the days when Porsche made tractors...

Why do Luxury SUVs (aside from the original) look nasty? Everytime I see a BMW X5 I wanna puke. Now I gotta risk losing even more lunches on the Porche SUV :p

I'm on the fence about the looks, but Porsche set out to create the best SUV in terms of off-roading and on-road performance. If they succeed then more power to them! Hey if it performs like a regular Porsche, then its a Porsche!

<< Why did the 959's get banned? >>

Because they dominated Dakar twice... but it wasnt just porsche that was banned but all Group B rally cars... but it was the 959 that got them all banned. :)

They should definantly just stick to cars, looks useless, ugly and way overpriced... it's got some features to make it a decent off-roader, but yet look at the size of those wheels... Low profile = good racer = bad off-roader (EVERYTHING comes at a cost)

Don't insult hyundai like that. The Santa Fe looks decent, unlike this "porche"

I like it, not just for its looks either.
It has a 450HP Porsche engine. Enough said about that.
It can actually *gasp* GO OFF ROAD. Imagine that - an SUV that you don't need to trick out in order to explore off the beaten path..

Yeah, Range Rovers and Hummers can do the same thing but without the power and flair. Sign me up.

*edit*

Yes, it'll cost $120,000 for the Turbo version. But imagine if any poor sap tried to race you only to get creamed with the 5.5 0-60. :D

How are you going to go "off-road" with low profile 19" and 20" tires. This thing ain't going nowhere but the street.

No "Opinion" about that ;)

I'd be impressed if that thing ever saw "washboard"
