time to jump off the Gordon Giriceck, Jelani McCoy, Malik Allen, and Kwame Brown bandwagon!

I dunno about Brown cuz hes gonna still be a starter and I personally need blocks anyways 😉
Heh maybe it is time for me to dump Giricek but its still early imho.

I dumped Giricek for Voshon Lenard. He's getting a lot of minutes and has been putting up good numbers since Vince Carter left.

suprises so far:

kobe #1 overall originally #6 (this should end when shaq returns)
Jason Terry #3 overall originally #15 (I honestly don't know a thing about the guy)
Tony Kukoc #5 overall originally #167 (I thought he was dead and buried. Looks like the trade to the Bucks gave him a new lease on life)
Jason Williams #11 overall originally #66 (the racist one, not the murderer or the one from Duke... he's been thriving and Shane Battier's been struggling)
Gilbert Arenas #13 overall originally #175 (I drafted him in 3 of the four leagues I'm in... he's a stats STUD)
Voshon Lenard #15 overall originally #104 (if vince is ever healthy, his stats will drop big time)
Glenn Robinson #16 originally #44 (shocking when you consider the stats Terry is putting up. they are becoming a shaq/kobe-like duo)
Kwame #17 overall originally #294 (better numbers than MJ)
Aaron McKie #18 overall originally #126 (getting time in starting rotation and making the most of it)
Jason Richardson #24 overall originally #72 (he's been having some sick, sick games)
Keon Clark #25 overall originally #25 (sactown injuries to vlade and pollard have given him huge minutes. He missed a game last night and may be cooling off)

Others: Payton, Stackhouse, Ricky Davis, Kurt Thomas, Mike Miller, Demond Mason, James Posey, Donyell Marshall, David Wesley, Pau Gasol, Ratliff, Richard Hamilton, Jordan, Ty Hill, Morris Peterson, Tony Delk, Devean George, Olowokandi, Ginobili

Disappointments:
Dirk #19 originally #2 (I picked him #1 in one league... he better come around quick. He has no excuse with LaFrenz out)
Shawn Marion #21 originally #10 (he was picked in the first round by many managers)
Paul Pierce #32 originally #1 (was last season an anomaly?)
Ben Wallace #40 originally #9 (like marion, a disappointing first rounder)
Antoine Walker (getting rid of Kenny Anderson really hurt both Pierce and Walker stats-wise)

Others: Steve Nash, Elton Brand (coming around now), Mobley, Eddie Jones, Andre Miller, Mutumbo, Iverson, Ray Allen, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Dale Davis, John Stockton, Webber, Van Horn, Karl Malone, PJ Brown, Van Exel, Alvin Williams, D. Stoudamire, Marbury, Rodney Rodgers, Cassell, Vince Carter, LaFrenz, Reggie Miller, Wally Szczerbiak, Elden Campbell

How can you put Andre Miller in the Disappointment category? He's averaging almost 12 assists a game. Did anyone expect anything more from him?

because he's only scored 18 points in 4 games with 3 steals. Heck, Marbury has 41 assists but he's down at #156 overall.

Payton, Kidd, Terry, Kobe, and Baron Davis would all have been better picks than Miller with high draft picks... even Jason Williams, Steve Nash, and Gilbert Arenas would have given you better overall stats with 30+ assists at this point.

Of course. Anyone who picked Andre Miller over Payton, Kidd, Kobe, or Baron Davis is an idiot. I managed to pick him up in the middle of the 3rd round I think. No way are any of the other guys going to be there by the 3rd.

As you pointed out, Gilbert Arenas is busting out and is ranked #13 overall. Does that mean anyone under him is considered a bust?

Steve Nash and Andre Miller are very close right now. Miller has more assists and boards and fewer TOs/game, Nash has more points steals and blocks/game with maybe a slight edge to Steve Nash because his shooting is better. But Steve Nash is a stud and that shouldn't detract at all from Andre Miller. In fact, Nash went in the 2nd round of my draft.

Andre Miller hasn't scored 18 pts in 4 games... he's averaging 15 a game.

doh... you're right and i'm dumb. he has 18 boards and 60 pts. he's only shooting .349 from the field, and .784 from the line with 3 steals.

Don't get me wrong, I picked Miller on a few teams... he's just not having as good a season as was predicted. And don't forget, the Clippers still suck... something he was supposed to change.

Yeah Miller isn't off to that good of a start, but that's also because the Clippers have a lot more talent than the Cavs had so there will be less touches for him. The season is not even 2 weeks old yet so it's too early to say he's going to be a bust.

here are some of my thoughts:

Gilbert Arenas is putting up great numbers, but he's averaging like 5 pfs a game! Kwame Brown's kinda slipping now...nothing close to that 18 reb first game. Where the hell did Tyrone Hill come from!? he's like avg 12 boards a game. Z from Cleveland is having a monster year, but he might get hurt. I feel sorry for whoever picked Walker....he's had a absolutely horrible start.

Questions for you guys: should i pick up Eric Piawotkoski(?) from the Clips? you think he's gonna get some playing time over Maggete and Q? How well is voshon lenard doing? do you think picking up Jerome Williams while davis is out a good move?

Tyrone was an all-star a while back but has had injuries the last couple of seasons. I picked up Piawotkoski cuz it looks like the Clippers have settled on a starting 5 of miller magette brand kandi and Piawotkoski. I had Q but for some reason he got benched or relegated to 6th man and not getting a good number of shots. This could alway blow up in my face if they switch the lineup again.

Lenard is doing alright for fgs made ok pts and can shoot from 3. I think Jerome is a good pickup if you need the immediate help.

Im kind of hesitant to make a ton of changes cuz its still early in the season but thats both good and bad.

Goddammit Kukoc got tossed in tonights game... and Boohoo too many missed shots by Kobe 🙁

Lenard is a good pickup since Vince is out. He's shown he can score in the past (~12ppg in just under 30mpg). Since he's starting he will definitely help you in points and 3s with a steal here and there.
