2001FP on Nvidia Quadro

Just got my new 2001FP and am having a problem getting my nvidia quadra to display 1600x1200.

It's weird because I was using an IBM P275 at 1600x1200 on the same card/system earlier today. I'm now on a fresh install of XP, have the latest nvidia drivers installed, as well as the inf/icm for the 2001FP. Under display props the monitor is showing up correctly as a 2001FP, but the max resolution on the slider is 1280x1024.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm jonesing for my hi-res here.

😕

It's a 200 NVS.

The IBM monitor I was using had a DVI input, which I was using. It wasn't "DVI-D" tho. I think it was basically the equivalent of using a BNC type cable. Just a high end analog signal cable. I was running at 1920x1440 for a year or so, and just dropped to 1600x1200 in preparation for getting the 2001FP.

This is gonna suck arse if the card won't support that res.

AND SUCK IT DOES.

I just checked the specs on PNY's site.

"Maximum resolutino over digital port: 1280 x 1024 at 60hz"

Hurray.

Guess it's time to start shopping for another vidcard.

Any suggestions on an economical one? :disgust:
