2001FP Audio

Hey guys,

I just bought a Dell 2001FP 20" LCD monitor for my Apple G5. It works great, and I love it, but I do have one question. I currently have my TV signal being sent to the monitor for the PIP feature on the monitor, so I can watch TV while I work. But, is there any way I can get sound, and not just video? I didn't see a port for it on the back, but is there any way?

Since the monitor doesen't have a built-in tv-tuner, you ought to have one then. So I guess your tv-tuner shall have an audio-outport.

So unless I get a TV tuner, there is no way for me to get audio, as well as picture, instead of just picture, which is what I have now?

OK, I got it. What I did was get the Logitech Z-640 speakers, and hooked them up directly to my cable box. My TV connection stayed the same, directly to the monitor 🙂.
