2000 Server and dual processor

Argo

I just installed second processor on our server running Win 2k Server. Is there any way to see if windows 2000 has detected the second processor?

Well, Task Manager looks normal. I didn't see anywhere mention of Dual Processors. Btw, do I have to reinstall windows when I install the second processor? Cuz I didn't and I'm thinking that could be the problem. It sucks that unlike NT win2k doesn't specify the number of processors at the startup.

If you install Win2K server on the dual board with one CPU then after the installation finish then you add another CPU then you would have to do some steps for windows to utilize your MPS.
Here is an article from microsoft website:
Article 1
Another way is to press F5 when you boot the windows then choose the appropriate selection, the easiest way is through microsoft article above.
After you done that in the task manager should be 2 graphics for the processor beside for the memory.

Hope that help.
