I understand these keys have a chip in them. Anyone know what I need to do besides order a blank to get another key working on my gf's car?

Stealership 🙁

Ya its the $75-$90 key from the dealer, I did get the "trunk" key for an infiniti to keep in my wallet in case I lock my keys in the car, but it will not start the car.

I gave the stealership a call and the key is $100, which isn't bad considering I found it online for $60 or so. But they charge $100 to program it. Ouch.

If you have one key you have to go in and have a service done, they need the cars computer.
If you have two keys you can go to locksmith key place and they should be able to make a third key
