Those were garbage when new. My FIL had one and it was a rattle box about on par with a Ford Exploder of the same era. He replaced it years ago with a Lexus RX350 and replaced that a couple years ago with a BMW X5. Both of which are much better cars.

Oh I agree. I drove it around a bit and didn't care for it but again it is just a beater. They just bought my Mom a new subaru when his car starting shitting itself. He was feed up with it and being retired doesn't really drive anymore so when the merc popped up just down the street he bought it.
