hey, I need a build for gaming and working... I want to be able to play games like bf3 and SCII on ultra and i'm going to be using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Cinema 4d, 3dsMax, autodesk, and some other smaller programs. i'm also going to be doing my own Minecraft server, overclocking, and maybe steaming games.:p

So I got this from a sticky

Core items

Power supply: just as long as its reliable and can support OC

Case: I was thinking of the Antec Eleven Hundred:confused:

Motherboard: would like 8 RAM slots, I don't need onboard graphics, it needs to support LGA2011, and good for OC

CPU: want the 3930k:awe:

Heatsink/fan for the CPU: um... the H100i or the Noctua sounds good, but I heard swiftech was coming out with something good.

Memory: would like 64GBs, and I need quad-channel for the rendering, i'm planning on doing a RAMdisk, and heavy rendering:ninja:

Primary hard drive: an SSD, I know most are pretty fast, I think i'll only need like 128GB or somthing like that.^_^

Primary optical drive: doesn't really matter what kind.

Video card: I was thinking the GTX670o_O

Monitor(s): I already have these, so I don't need them

Mouse/keyboard: I have these too

Operating System: umm... windows 8, i'm just going to use a theme to make it look like 7.

Snacks: I like Doritos.

Optional stuff
Additional hard drive(s): a 2T hard drive would do, i'll upgrade later it need be.

Audio card: i'll just use onboard audio because that's pretty good.

Uninterruptible Power Supply and/or surge supressor: only if you guys think its needed.:sneaky:

Pizza: defiantly:cool:

Well, why don't you update your other thread with your new build so that people will have some context? This build looks very similar to what you posted before, there's no need for people to post the same advice twice.

Thanks anyway!
