You mean one close to the CPU? Well, you'd need it. I believe it feeds the CPU.

BTW, don't try to get anything less than a Sempron 3100+ or Athlon 2800+.

Also, integrated video sounds like a good idea on paper, but in reality, it's not always great.

Looks like you might be getting a Fortron PSU.

Well that kills it. Might as well go Barebones from somewhere. Turns out my PSU only has 20 pins anyway.

:(

If you only have $200 to spend I would really recommend hanging out in the FS section of this forum. You can find some pretty good combo deals there. I know I just recently picked up an A64 3400+ newcastle, DFI UT 250gb MB, and 512mb corsair bh6 for $200. I have also recently seen a pretty cool combo that was something like xp3000, 1gb pc2700 ram, MB (I forget what), and a 9800 pro for like $225.

Okay, but...

Since my existing PSU is only a 20 pin and the mobo shows a 24pin PLUS the 4 pin. Is the adapter going to work for me???

Thanks

To add a little twist to the whole thing, my wife said I could have a few extra bucks!!!

Here is what I ended up ordering;

From MWave:
AMD SEMPRON 2800+ 64-BIT W/256KB CACHE 90NM (PALERMO)
ASROCK K8NF4G-SATA2
MWAVE 512MB DDR400(256MB X 2
FREE FARCRY 64 PC GAME

From ZipZoomFly:
Hitachi Deskstar 7K80 80GB Serial ATA II 7200RPM w/8MB Buffer

Total price around $227
