<$200 phone with good camera

I'd like a cheap travel phone with a good camera, so it won't be a big loss if it gets lost or stolen (wife's iPhone 6S was recently stolen…). What's the verdict with regard to Android phone cameras at this price range?

Do you want new or used? There are plenty of deals to be had on previous gen flagships that have good cameras.

Did she have it set up to remotely lock, find and wipe?

Remote wipe. But it was stolen on a cruise ship in international waters, so it's in airplane mode. I have a feeling the remote wipe may not happen. Only other thing she did was change all passwords.

I picked up a refurbed LG G2 for $80 when my $400 note4 became a brick right outside the warranty period. the G2 takes as good if not better pictures than my previous galaxy s4 and i'm satisfied especially for $80. people say it's on par w/ the galaxy s5.

In case anyone was wondering, I think I'm going to jump on this Nexus 5X deal. Looks pretty sweet: $199 + Project Fi, can just cancel Project Fi after one month if not needed. Total out of pocket: $220 + tax.

Ok but do your homework first, check reviews, I have heard less than good stuff about that phone but i have never used one in person so I dont know if its true or not.

Used Lumia Icon if you want a very good camera. And, they are world phones. About 150.00 or less on ebay.

How about just buy a camera and a flip phone? Everyone seem to forget what a "Phone" is for in the first place.

I've read a lot of issues with it, maybe consider something else?

You're right! I should also get a camcorder in case I want to take videos. Also a laptop so I can access the internet at Wifi hotspots. So, lemme see what kind of pants I have to get to fit all those things in my pocket...

I got you covered...
