The cameraman sucks, but you get a good look at the road near the end of the video. The speedo goes to 320 KPH I believe, and needle goes past that.

This could ONLY be done at night on the Autobahn. They're so crowded during the day that you can only run 200km/h comfortably before some wienie in a teeny French or Italian 1.1 liter job just HAS to pass the even slower truck without checking his mirror first. The single finger salute is universal, they recognize that in Germany, too.

It's a two lane system (4 lanes total) where you are only allowed to pass the left side. Despite what most people think, there are huge traffic jams during rush hour and it is not always "freely flowing". However, in the middle of the night you are the King of the road.

A friend of mine once showed me a video he shot a few years ago from the passenger seat of a Callaway twin-turbo Vette, going 200mph on I80 between Vacaville and Davis late at night. Now that was insane.

I have been 140 on an empty road and that was pretty nippy, once I have hit 150 I will be happy, until 175 probably.
