That's close to a glass of vodka a day. Do the math.

I can't imagine how accurate a Soviet sniper was with that kind of rations. :D

That's four of those mini-bottles like you get on an airplane.

Definitely not enough to numb the realization that you are a Russian soldier on the front.

200 grams? Isn't that an odd choice of measurement for a fluid? I'd think it would be in mL.

Yeah, but if your stomach was... eh... nm there's nothing that could numb that aweful burning realization.

The Continental Marines (circa 1775) used to be paid in a pint of RUM and a pound of meat each day, thier choice of beef or ham.

You had to BYOR though (bring your own rifle) the Govt provided all the ammunition you needed.

No it isn't.

A gallon of pure ethanol weighs about 6.59lbs.

So 200 grams of it would only be 8.4 fluid ounces.

Or about 5.5 1.5oz shots.

Wouldn't the vodka be only about half ethanol? And there's probably other junk in there that affects the SG as well, seeing as this is military vodka from WW2. :D

i thought a glass was only technically 8 oz. or used to be...as in 'a glass of wine'
im not basing that on anything, though.
and alcohol doesnt actually make you warmer...i think it just makes you feel warmer. i think it just makes all your blood vessels dilate, giving off more heat. edit: i mean, giving off all your heat. not producing more.

Yeah, but I couldn't find how much vodka weighs per gallon as easily. :p Should be close enough.
