200 FSB Athlon Availability?

Does anyone know how long the 200 MHz FSB Athlon/Tbird CPUs will be available? Are they still making them? I've got a couple of 700 MHz systems that I'd like to upgrade w/o changing the motherboard, and was wondering if the price of these CPUs has started to move north.

2 weeks ago I got a 1.4ghz Athlon with a 200mhz FSB for $200 CDN (about $125 US)
At the store I got it, the 1.4ghz Athlon with a 266mhz FSB was also $200 CDN.

At other places though, I've seen the 200fsb Athlon's going for a few dollars more.

The main reason I upgraded my chip when I did (the 1ghz I had was still rocking) is that I'm pretty sure that the 200mhz chips will go out of productions fairly soon.

Damn... I was thinking of getting a new mobo and sticking with my current processor (900@1060) but knowing that I can just drop in a 1400 would be nice. Although, I think I'de rather get a new mobo and then just wait for the XP 1800 or maybe the 2000 to come down in price.. I don't upgrade very often.

Sure, 200FSB are still widely available. Although most stores charge maybe a couple more dollars compare to 266FSB. They are available from the 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 Ghz.

I recently (couble of months ago) picked up a 1.4GHz T-bird(200MHz FSB) and put it in my Asus A7V and it works great. Only paid about $110 for the chip. You can probably get one now for approx $100. Check pricewatch.

I still use a 900mhz ThunderBird 200 MHz FSB slot A processor. Plus I have a 600mhz standard AMD processor I'm keeping just in case my 900mhz goes bad.

If so, the 900mhz processor has a long life ahead since I have been using it for only like 1 1/2 years. Plus the 600mhz cpu has only been used for like 3 months of use. Below is my system specs which I know it's not the fastest thing in the world. But the software I run don't need a processor that high any ways. I do get some nice proformance out of the system.

I was just wondering if they had stopped producing these chips, because the price will start to rise pretty quicky thereafter. I noticed that the vendor with the best delivered price on the 1.3 GHz TBird raised their price by $4 this week.
