I have almost 4,000 CDR's i got free! I think I'll pass on any not-free deals! 30 cents seems very expensive to me for this brand.

4000?!?!? You need help. Serious help. Join AnandTech Anonymous. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem with hot deals on CD-Rs. :)

You can order online for instore pickup. Just use coupon 50312154 (this coupon is available on their website under advertised specials so this doesn't violate forum rules) for B1G1 free. There is also a $15 off $50 coupon if there is $20 more stuff you want to buy.

One option is buy 3x 100 packs of the cdrs, use the B1G1 coupon to get 1 free, then use the $15 coupon to bring the total down to $45 + tax which gives you 300 cdrs @ $0.15 a piece.
Or you could just add $20 of stuff and get $15 off (so basically $15 off a $20 purcahase)

Now does anyone know who makes these?

I've admitted I am a rebate addict but it doesn't help! I keep saying, it's harmless. I do have a garage to fill up ... the cars can stay in the driveway.

The last 100 pk of Imations I bought were made by CMC Magnetics. They were not good - they had about 8000 C1 errors on a full CD.

I bought these and they were CMCs.. They average around 40 C1 errors per cd which is higher than the LeadData I sometimes buy (average of around 30 C1 errors), higher than the TY that I sometimes buy (average of 8 C1 errors), and lower than the riteks I got an excellent deal on (average of 7 C1 errors which surprised the hell out of me because last time I used riteks they were absolute junk - although C1 errors doesn't tell you how long the discs will last)..
