20" ViewSonic Widescreen LCD 1680X1050 VA2012WB $179

It's refurb and doesn't appear to have DVI input. Thats a deal breaker for me.
edit: I was wrong about the DVI...It has it. But the refurb thing makes me leary..

If you need a cheap LCD, then this may be worth it. I'd be willing to bet that you're pretty much guaranteed to get dead pixels though. That won't bother some people but it's unacceptable to others. So good deal if you're the former. 😛

Edit: Even though it's TD, the stickied deal has a new Sceptre 20" LCD for this same price after $50 rebate. I wouldn't buy it but some might be interested in it if they're considering this. Buyer beware with going thru TD though! They sold my CC info to people who charged me $$'s over a year after my last purchase with TD! Never again for me but some people figure it's worth it.

I bought on of these at Costco about one year ago for $389 I think. It's been a good monitor.

As has been mentioned, I'd be leery of LCD refurbs since its a pretty safe bet its going to come with dead pixels.

I have this monitor though and am pretty happy with it. I bought it from costco last summer.

Costco offers the Sceptre 20" for $189 AR. No hassle returns.

That monitor and the one at TD do not come with a DVI cable. Just an FYI.

That's odd. The Sceptre i bought from Costco came with a DVI cable. I remember clearly because i had to change that particular cable because i had signal dropoff issues and i replaced it with the one i bought from monoprice.

Maybe thay stopped including it.

I've gotten LCD referbs before with no dead pixels ... but this was back before the manufacturers could try passing off "dead pixels" as normal. In store I'd be tempted for ability to return ... but online ... ehh.

If you setup secondary PCs for guest LAN party use I'd say this and the 22" are hot ... but as a primary display I'm not going to deal well with dead pixels.

I am refering to model Sceptre X20WG Naga. Maybe you got a different one or perhaps I'm mistaken and Costco doesn't carry it.

The Costco 20.1" Sceptre seems like a better deal, non-refurbished, and the Costco guarantee. I love my 32" lcd from them, the quality is amazing. 🙂 I'm eyeballing that or the Xgen2 22" for only $250. 😀
