20" Viewsonic- $699 Good deal??

Viewsonic VP201-B

Anyone know about this model? It seems like a decent deal, but I don't personally know the quality of this model.

Seems to be the best price around. Newegg has it for a little bit more, and most other places are charging $750. Its a Viewsonic monitor...so its going to be a decent quality product.

They have an Acer 19" LCD at New Egg today for $299. I hear its a decent screen.

Exact same panel as every other 16ms, 20" LCD out there- Dell, Viewsonic, Philips, etc. Personally, I'd got with the 2001fp as it's cheaper, but that's just me.

Why, when an 19" 8ms Hyundai (made by Samsung) is $379 @ Newegg?

Beautiful monitor. I just got this yesterday. Great color and no ghosting....Paid $693 OTD at Dell Home....

This is an awesome monitor, for gaming etc. Unlike some 19in that are not an exact 4x3 ratio this one measures exactly 16" by 12" perfect for 1600X1200 resolution. Some 19in monitors are 1280x1024 even when they should be 1280 by 960 to avoid image stretching. I got mine using a link on B$ to the Viewsonic friends and family discount website for $650 a few months back, but just like masteraleph mentioned the dell 2001fp is basically the same monitor so which ever is cheaper get it.

Ordered my VP201B from Newegg for $719. I live in Alaska so I had to spring for $55 shipping =-( but I got a few friends in on the deal to help with the shipping charge, so that helps. I hope to have it today As long as Fed Ex holds up thier end of the deal. Havn 't slept right for 2 days. Gawd I'm excited!!!
